摘    要:磁导航外科手术系统是一种利用外界磁场引到药物或其他治疗手段在患者脑部完成复杂外科手术的一种全新的治疗手段.根据该系统对磁体的特殊要求,本文提出了一种改进型四极磁体结构,将采用球坐标系下目标场法推导出的电流密度分布重新进行了工程近似和优化,建造完成了工程上易于实现的具有恒定电流密度分布的球形四极磁体模型.与先前磁外科手术系统采用的普通螺线管磁体相比,该结构的磁体具有较大的磁场梯度和较好的梯度均匀性,同时还有较小的电感.在实验室已经用铜导线完成了上述改进型四极磁体的建造和相关的测试工作.

Abstract:The Magnetic Stereotaxis System (MSS) is a unique medical device designed to deliver drugs and other therapies directly into deep brain tissues to perform complicated surgical operations. According to the special requirements of MSS, this paper presents a novel type of modified quadrupoel magnet. After redesign and optimum of the current density deduced from the target field approach, we have already complete the construction of this spherical quadrupole magnet that has a constant current distribution that is easy to fabricate in engineering. Compared with the traditional solenoid coils, this new type of coils can generate higher linear gradient fields while the inductance values keep lower that is more essential for the MSS. A prototype of this modified spherical quadrupole magnet has been constructed with copper conductors at laboratory. The testing work has already been completed.
