| Abstract: | The U.S. Department of Energy issued a final rule on June 26, 2009, amending the energy conservation standards for general service fluorescent lamps. This article introduces these new energy efficiency requirements, and makes a comparison of the main technical indexes with many countries. This article also probes into the impacts of this regulation on domestic fluorescent lamp manufacturers. |
