摘    要:电池储能系统(BESS)是一种新兴的FACTS器件。具有控制有功功率流的能力,能够同时对接入点的有功功率和无功功率进行调节,为高压输电系统提供快速的响应容量,有效提高了电力系统的稳定性、可靠性和电能质量。介绍了电池储能系统的基本原理、特点和国外的应用情况,并对它在电力系统中的不同应用进行了综述。

Abstract:A battery energy storage system(BESS)is a new FACTS facility.BESS can regulate active power and reactive power of the power bus synchronously.It can afford the fast response capability for high voltage transmit electricity system,enhance the system stability and restrained the fluctuation of frequency and voltage.This paper introduces the characteristic of BESS,and how it use in foreign power system,and also introduces the different application of BESS in power system.
