汉英双语法庭口译员角色定位研究

汉英双语法庭口译员的角色一直以来没有得到足够重视和准确定位。从译员的主体性意识出发,结合巴赫金对话理论和福柯权力思想,通过实际语料分析和还原庭审现场,有如下发现：中英法庭口译员在庭审过程中主要担当着四种不同的角色,即＂信息的筛选人＂、＂交际的调解人＂、＂权力的传递人＂和＂立场的倾斜人＂。这四种不同的角色是相互重叠,互为影响的关系,这也说明了译员主体性意识的关联性,交融性,多样性和复杂性。

Interpreter Role Orientation in Mandarin-English Bilingual Courtroom

The role orientation of interpreters in Mandarin-English bilingual courtroom has always been neglected and thus urges reassessment.This paper conducts a data-based study of the interpreter′s subjectivity consciousness with a combined theoretical framework of Bakhtin′s conversation theory and Foucault′s power theory.By analyzing the relevant transcribed data in the Mandarin-English bilingual courtroom and monitoring the real-time trial,this paper gets the following conclusion：In the process of the Mandarin-English bilingual court trial,the interpreter functions as four different roles,respectively＂information chooser＂;＂social coordinator＂;＂conversational power deliverer＂and＂neutrality′s changer＂;The roles of Mandarin-English court interpreter overlap with and affect each other,which illustrates the relevance,combination,diversity and complexity of the interpreter′s subjectivity consciousness.
