摘    要:多分辨率地形技术是实时绘制复杂地形的最有效的工具.在对以往各种算法进行研究的基础上,提出了一种基于二叉树的多分辨率地形优化方法,同时综合考虑视点对节点分辨率的影响;提出了适合于视点变化的节点评价函数,同时改进了裂缝的消除方法.算法对节点的层次细节给予了精确的描述并提高了执行效率.算法在绘制速率和地形真实性之间作了良好的折衷,也符合视点变化的特点,提高了地形的渲染速度,达到了实时交互的目的.

Abstract:A multi-resolution terrain technique is the most efficient tool for real-time rendering of a complex terrain. A bintree-based optimization algorithm for level of detail(LOD) terrain was applied based on the overall research of former algorithm and the node evaluation function is given for the node evaluation according to the influence of viewpoint. Meanwhile the method of recovering the cracks is improved. The algorithm gives an accurate explanation of the LOD node and increases the executive efficiency. This algorithm makes a tradeoff between the rendering speed and terrain reality. At the same time, it is based on the view-point character, therefore it increases the rendering speed and achieves real-time alternation.
