基于整数小波变换的图像融合算法

图像融合技术是将同一对象的两个或更多的图像合成在一幅图像中,以便使它比原来的任何一幅图像更容易为人们所理解。成功地进行图像融合的关键在于找到有效实用的图像融合算法。本文提出了一种基于整数小波变换的图像融合算法,首先将待融合的源图像作多层整数小波分解,然后对各分解层分别实行融合处理得到新的小波系数矩阵,最后通过整数小波逆变换得到融合的图像。实验结果表明本算法具有很好融合效果和实用性。

An image fusion method based on integer wavelet transform

Image fusion technology is used to fuse two or more images of the same object into a new one, which could be understand more easily by readers. The key.of a succesful image fusion is to find effective and practical image fusion algorithm. An image fusion method based on integer wavelet transtorm is proposed in this paper. First, the sourse images are decomposed using integer wavelet transform respectively. Then the coefficients are combined by appropriate fusion rules. Finally, the new image is obtained by inverse integer wavelet transform of the new coefficients matrix. Experiment result shows that this algorithm has good fusion effect and is practical.
