高校科研投入产出关系中的边际收益递增现象

对我国高校的科研投入产出关系进行的定量考察表明:当选择一般的产出综合指标时,我国高校的科研投入产出关系呈现边际收益递减或边际收益不变的特点,前沿生产函数大致呈现一种线性关系;当选择高水平的科研成果作为产出指标时,前沿生产函数不能用线性关系很好地描述;对投入水平较低的院校,高水平的学术成果与投入水平之间并没有明显的因果关系;但对投入水平较高的院校,高水平的学术成果与投入水平之间有正相关关系,且呈现明显的边际收益递增的特点.

Increasing marginal revenue in input-output analysis on scientific research in universities

By quantitatively analyzing the input-output relationship of scientific research in Chinese universities,it is found that when a general output is chosen as output index,the input-output relation ship of scientific research in Chinese universities is characterized by either decreasing or unchanging marginal revenue and the frontier production function is linear.When high-leveled scientific research achievement is chosen as output index,the frontier production function is not linear.For the universities with low inputs,there is no distinct reason-result relation between ship high-leveled academic achievements and inputs;But for the universities with high inputs,not only is there a linear relation between high-leveled academic achievements and inputs,but also a characteristic of increasing marginal revenue.
