| Abstract: | The advancement in the electrosynthesis of aromatic alkehydes with ceric salts as media is reviewed,and the advantages and disadvantages of the two media(ceric and manganic salts) are compared with each other. The electrooxidation of ceric salts ,the synthesis of aromatic aldehydes and the problems of this method in commercial production are all discussed. |
