摘    要:介绍了一种新的实现空间点绕任意轴旋转的方法──实四元数组方法,它有效地克服了矩阵方法的某些缺陷,不仅算法简便,而且极易从表示旋转的实四元数组中提取旋转要素.

Abstract:A new method is presented for dealing with the rotation of a point around an arbitrary axis in three-dimension space ──the real quaternions method.This method provides a simple and elegant representation of rotation.It is easy to generate the quaternion that represents a rotation and to extcact rotation elements from a unit quaternion.It is also easy to obtain the equivalent rotation of a compound rotation around several axes.
