摘    要:并发控制是改善数据库系统性能的最重要的机制,在XML数据管理中并发控制已经成为一个重要的研究课题.给出了一种基于XPath路径查询语言的XML数据库并发控制机制,定义了XPLock锁协议模型以及锁协议规则,讨论了并发控制操作流程,并验证了在此锁协议机制下的并发调度是可串行化调度.最后通过实验表明提出的XPLock锁协议在并发度、锁粒度等方面是一种有效的XML并发控制机制.

Abstract:Concurrency control is the most important mechanism for improving database system performance and has become an important research subject in XML data management. A concurrency control mechanism of XML database, which is based on XPath language is proposed. XPLock protocol and rules are defined. The flow of concurrency control and algorithms of applying lock and releasing lock are discussed. The concurrency schedule in this protocol mechanism is proved to be a serializable schedule. Some related experiments prove that the XPLock is efficient for XML concurrency control in degree of concurrency and lock granularity .
