| Abstract: | Starting with a brief review of the development of the modern ceramic cutting tool materials, this article introduces the characters of structure and propertioes of modern ceramic cuttiong tool materials addresses the influence of microstructure on mechanical properties and operational performance. Finally, athigh maching speeds the choice and use of modern ceramic cutting tool materials is described. |
