A Study on the Stack Management and the Book Borrowing Service in Libraries of Colleges and Universities

In order to explore effective ways of the stack management and the book borrowing service in libraries of colleges and universities,this paper deeply analyzes such problems as insufficient professionalism of stack administrators,the defective stack layout,the lack of consciousness of the care of library books and the contradiction between the framed bent management and the classified catalogue.In addition,it puts forward relevant countermeasures like strengthening the training of staff members in libraries,optimizing the hardware facilities in libraries and creating a good environment for the stack and reading.The countermeasures can further enhance the efficiency of stack management and optimize the book borrowing service,which are helpful for sustainable development of libraries in college sand universities.
