| Abstract: | A new model of fuzzy synthetic assessment is presented in this paper, which utilizes fuzzy linguistic variables to express the decision-maker＇s opinions in the weighting, comment set and single factor assessment and then quantizes the fuzzy linguistic variables by the trape- zoidal fuzzy number containing the degrees of confidence. Finally, the engineering applica- tion of this model is illustrated with an example. |
