| 摘 要： | 随着多媒体技术的发展和广泛应用，特别是对一些综合应用大型系统，如何对数据量大，内容复杂的多媒体数据存储与管理，如何方便而有效地使用这些多媒体数据，都是多媒体技术的重要问题。主要针对关于多媒体数据的存储的多媒体数据库技术问题，对其发展历史，相关技术进行了初步探讨，提出三种实现方法，并加以分析比较，最后对多媒体数据库技术未来的发展方向和趋势进行了展望。

| Abstract: | With the development and application of multimedia technology, especially for some integrated systems, it is very important to study how to manage the complicated multimedia data and how to use these multimedia data. In this paper, the technology of multimedia database is described including its development and technology. Then three realizable method was put forward and they are compared with each other. Finally the prospect of multimedia database is anticipated. |
