聚酰亚胺液晶定向层的分子设计研究

摘    要:本文从聚酰亚胺(PI)分子骨架、倾基以及在液晶显示器定向层中的应用等几个方面讨论了聚酰亚胺型液晶定向层的分子设计。通过综合分析结论:用于液晶定向层的聚酰亚胺结构分子骨架最好为柔性骨架,并在骨架中引入一些侧基以有利于增加液晶分子的预倾角,提高液晶显示器件的显示质量。在保持传统聚酰亚胺的优良特性的同时最好制得透明甚至无色的聚酰亚胺薄膜以适应液晶显示器件不断发展的要求。

Abstract:In this paper, the molecular design of polyimide(PI) liquid crystal alignment layer(LCAL) was studied.After considering the polymer backbond,side groups ,the practical using and several other aspects,we drew the conclusion that in order to improve the quality of liquid crystal display(LCD),the PIs used as the LCAL should have flexible moieties in the polymer backbond and some long-chain alkyl groups should be introduced into the main chain or the side chain so as to raise the LC pretilt angle.At the same time ,we also discussed the effect of polyimide color on the LCD quality and predicted their using in LCAL.
