| Abstract: | This article reviewed the development and research progress in polyimide （PI） all over the world. The key preparation technologies and application fields of PI are introduced according to the main products such as film， slurry， resin， fiber and foam. Through analyzing the gaps of R&D and production status between the domestic and foreign countries， the future development trends and research focus of PIs were proposed. |
