| Abstract: | The densification processes and factors which influence them as well as phenomena often cx-isting during sintering of ceramic matrix composites were reviewed. Some models for densificationwith rigid inclusions were described. Factors influencing densification of ceramic matrix compositesincluding properties of the matrix and inclusions and actions between them were discussed. A form-ing process for preparing high density crystalline ceramic matrix composites was suggested. |
