硼酸镁(Mg2B2O5)晶须的制备及表征

摘    要:以六水氯化镁、硼酸、氢氧化钠和氯化钠为原料,采用高温助熔剂工艺制备了硼酸镁(Mg2B2O5)晶须。利用X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)、透射电镜(TEM)和X射线光电子能谱(XPS)对制备的产品进行了表征。XRD物相分析结果表明制备的产品为单一相三斜结构硼酸镁(Mg2B2O5)。XPS表明制备的产品中Mg、B和O的摩尔比为1.000∶0.996∶2.498,且价态分别为+2价、+3价和-2价,与Mg2B2O5化学计量比以及价态一致。SEM和TEM显微图像表明合成的产品为纤维状,且长径比大于10,并对生长机理进行了初步探讨。

Abstract:Magnesium borate(Mg2B2O5) whisker was successfully synthesized via high temperature flux method using magnesium chloride, boric acid, sodium hydroxide and sodium chloride as raw materials. The prepared product was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscope(TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The results showed that the prepared sample had triclinic structure and consisted of whisker-like particles with the proportion of length to diameter beyond 10. XPS results confirmed the molar ratio of each atom agreed with the stoichiometric composition of Mg2B2O5. Finally, the growth mechanism was briefly discussed.
