On the Dam Safety Supervision Mode for Hydropower Stations in Brazil

Chinese enterprises have invested or acquired some hydropower stations in Brazil.While most dams in hydropower stations in Brazil are embankment dams,and some of them are out of repair for many years.Thus,dam safety supervision and management are of great importance.The local management system and mechanism,and corresponding laws and regulations are studied.Then,based on the practical management experience in domestic and foreign projects,suggestions are made on the dam safety management from the aspects of organization,personnel and system to continuously improve the management level,maintain the good images of Chinese enterprises,and achieve a stable and satisfactory results.
