Design of inundation treatment in Gaobazhou Water Control Project

The theory and method of systems were applied to the planning and design of resettlement of Gaobazhou Reservoir, Qingjiang River. The inundation and resettlement of Gaobazhou reservoir were taken as a big system,but the concerned environment and biology, society and economy, resources and development, laws and science and technology, etc. were taken as several subsystems. Therefore, the integrative studies were conducted on the des truction of production systemand social network caused by the rsser voir inundation and resettlement. the regulation plan of productive allotment and distribution in the concerned areas and the measures for the resettlement were put forward. The analysis and studies on the resettlement environmental capacity and the planning were conducted on the basis of taking the village and production team as one element. The public structures of culture, education and health, and the infrastructures of water, power and road, which are necessary for the production and daliy life of the resettled people. All these lay a good foundation for stabilizing quickly the life of resettled people and resuming and developing the production and also facilitate the implementation and management of resettlement project
