Abstract:Mg76-xTi12+xNi9Cr3(x=4,8,12,16) alloys were synthesized by mechanical alloying(MA) process,and the phase structures and hydrogen storage properties of the alloys were investigated by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscope,thermal analysis and pressure-composition isotherm measurement.The results showed that the main phases of Mg76-xTi12+xNi9Cr3(x=4,8,12,16) alloys were comprised of Mg2Ni and Ti2Ni phase,both the degree of amorphous and the solid solubility of the alloys increased with the milling ti...
