尾砂资源利用实践初探

我国铁矿石资源较为贫乏,人均占有量较低.铁矿石开采加工过程中,产生的废石在排土场堆存,废弃的尾矿堆存在尾矿库,占据了大量的农用、林用土地,增加了矿山企业的成本,并对环境造成影响.当前,资源矛盾日益突出,矿石价格长期维持在高位,从废弃的士场和尾矿库寻找资源已成为国内众多矿山企业的共识,也是解决资源利用水平低的途径之一.在废弃的尾矿库开展资源回收利用,既可解决尾矿砂排放量大所带来的环境影响,又可延长尾矿库的使用年限,减少尾矿库占用面积,是贯彻科学发展观的有效手段和发展方向.某矿根据尾矿库实际现状,在科学考察试验的基础上,提出了对老尾矿库实施尾砂资源回收工程,并于2005年底投产,近5年来,已累计生产品位66 ％的铁精粉112.8340万t,创效益近5.25亿元.本文重点对该矿尾砂资源回收情况进行介绍,为矿山资源挖潜引出新路.
