| Abstract: | A new design of a pulse laser power supply utilizing GTO(gate turn-off thyristor)inverter is reported in this paper.Its working principle is analysed in detail,especially with sucha changing load as the energy storage capacitor.The idea of the quantized electric charging is in-troduced,according to which the charging voltage of the energy storage capacitor is controlled bythe number of the trigger pulse of the GTO inverter,so that the charging precision and reliabilityis much higher than that in the traditional charging process where the voltage feedback methodis used. |
