| Abstract: | Free space laser communication with laser as information carrier is a communication method which does not need any wired channel. For its characteristics of high-speed, low power loss, good flexibility and so on, free space laser communication has large potential in satellite communication, broadband access and martial communication. Its key technique is analyzed. The current situation of Europe and US is introduced and the development trend is indicated. |
