Abstract:By using the cross-polarization modulation of the highly photonics crystal fiber,an all-optical wavelength converter of 40Gb/s CSRZ signal and the format conversion from CSRZ to RZ is successfully demonstrated in a piece of 60m highly nonlinear PCF,and analyse the effect of the switching window and the crosstalk which is induced by the walk-off effect through the theoretical calculaiton.
