摘    要:本文简要介绍了铁电液晶显示器的基本工作原理及其特点,并着重从铁电液晶的材料和取向层以及分子层结构的角度阐述了获得铁电液晶显示器的双稳态的基本条件,并且列举了实现双稳态的的一些方法,最后给出了结论。

Abstract:The characteristics of ferroelectric liquid crystal are introduced in this paper.The principles and methods of obtaining the surface stabilized bistability are stressed on expounding from three aspects-materials, alignment polymer film and layer structure in the cell. At last some conclusions are presented.The material needs special phase sequence.appropriate viscosity and spontaneous polarization. The crystallization of orientation film should be high and it needs determinate conductivity. It is the quite effective method to getquasi-bookshelf structure applying AC or DC electric field.
