Improved LMS Algorithm of Antenna Array Element Based on The Genetic Optimization

The least mean square （LMS） algorithm is one of the array antenna weighted algorithms in the adaptive array antenna. This paper presents an improved LMS algorithm based on the genetic optimization,the genetic algorithm（GA）-LMS algorithm adequately combines the advantages of the concurrent processing and the global search of the genetic algorithm. The experiment results show ：compared with the traditional LMS algorithm,GA-LMS algorithm has the perfect convergence at- tribute, and can suppress jamming signal better, improves the side-lobe performance of the adaptive arrays antenna pattern effectively.
