This paper points out the development trend of optical communication migrating to client firstly, analyzes the characters of client optical communication. Then introduces several technology approaches of optical communication migrating to client, analyzes the characteristic when PON is applied in the client optical communication network. At last, the authors further discuss the networking problem of client's access.
