Abstract:The basic principle of single Y-branch LiNbO 3 integrated optical devices in integration with phase modulators ,polarizers and splitters used in fiber optic gyroscopes(FOGs) is described as well as their performance characteristics and design considerations.The waveguides made by annealed proton-exchange (APE) are also introduced.
