Abstract:This paper introduces some advantages and application fields of bearingless synchronous reluctance motors(BSynRM) with salient-pole rotor,and the rotor suspension principles of the BSynRM are developed,in addition,the Maxwell forces and the Lorentz forces in the BSynRM are explained in detail,furthermore,the develop trends on key technologies of the BSynRM are summarized.
