Application of Fixed Wireless Local Loop

After briefly mentioning the present status of the microcellular personal communication systems, the paper introduces the possible application of wireless technology to the fixed local loop (subscriber line) of the local communciation network. Then it explains successively the functional architecture, interface with the public swithed network, and various services supported by the fixed wireless local loop.
