| Abstract: | Over or under excavation is a common phenomenon found in tunnel excavation, which has a direct impact on construction safety and economical benefits, while smooth blasting technology proves to be an effective counter-measure to this problem. The present paper, in light of the construction experience with the Yinla Tunnel of the Lari Railway Basin, aims to make an elaboration of the employment of this technology. |
