A Summary of Key Technical Points for Construction of East Qinling Super-long Tunnel |

Abstract: | Design code and key technical points for main tunnel and parallel heading of East Qinling Super-long Tunnel are introduced. An overall introduction is given on such technologies as construction survey and testing, tunnel boring and supporting, water handling, ventilation and dust control, construction equipment, and elastic monolithic track bed, etc. Many difficult technical problems were solved like GPS position guidance, long distance single head ventilation, matching of track transport and trackless transport equipment, pre-supporting of weak surrounding rock, smooth blasting, non-seepage waterproofing, composite lining, semi-mechanized laying of elastic monolithic track bed, etc. |
