As far as international financial services is concerned,the significance of WTO lies in its adopting trade in financial services to multi lateral trade system and enacting a series of agreements relevant to financial services,namely,GATS,Annex on financial services,Undertanding on commitments in financial services,Financial services agreements,which constitute the multi lateral legal framework of international trade in financial services.Its main contents include rules and disciplines of liberalization of international trade in financial services,harmonization,recognition and implementation of domestic regulation affecting trade in financial sevices,resolution of dispute on international trade in financial services.As a binding international agreement whose choice of value is based on efficiency,the framework is the most important institutional innovation in the field ofinternational financial law.
