The analysis on some issues of multimodal transport regime under Rotterdam Rules

As the first maritime convention introduced the multimodal transport,the Rotterdam Rules have significant impact.This paper first analyzes the definition of multimodal transport,then states the weekness of the convention,and elaborates on the differences of multimodal transport in this convention,such as the delimitation of multimodal transport and the period of responsibility of the carrier.To study the actual function of the convention,this paper also tries to analyze how the Rotterdam Rules solve the conflict of laws by reference to other scholars＇ opinions.
