| Abstract: | Along with socialization of criminal punishment execution, community correction has been universally applied in all countries around the world. In Amendment （VIII） to the Criminal Law adopted at the 19th session of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People＇s Congress on February 25, 2011, community correction was officially written into the Criminal Law of China. As a result, the term of ＂community correction＂ has, for the first time ever, formally appeared in provisions of the Criminal Law. |
