香港特区要务实地贯彻落实＂普选时间表＂

“香港”是“中国香港”，“一国两制”就是一个以国家为大前提的政治制度的设计。有理性的香港人都无法抛弃热爱祖国的情结。因为历史原因。回归後香港享有“高度自治”和“港人治港”的特殊优待。这在世界上任何一个国家或地区都是不多见的。所以《基本法》引入“爱国、爱港”的术语以表达出在特区内还应该贯彻国家至上的原则。在国家授权管治的形式下。港人肯定而且必须一切以国家为主。

Pragmatic Approach to the Election Time Table for HKSAR Universal Suffrage

＂Hong Kong＂ connotes ＂China Hong Kong＂. ＂One Country, Two Systems＂ for-mulates a political system under the Basic Law with emphasis on the Motherland. All right-thinking members of the Chinese race could hardly shed their nationalistic sentiments. National affinity aside, for resolving the ＂Historical Question＂ on the resumption of jurisdiction over Hong Kong in 1997 the HKSAR was to enjoy ＂Hong Kong People Ruling Hong Kong＂ and ＂High Degree of Self Rule＂. These privileges cannot be found in regions where governance is not reserved to the indigenous local residents. Needless to say that the Motherland reigns supreme in the HKSAR and we are to put our Country first and foremost. Therefore, for the delegated 50-year High Degree of Autonomy the qualifying concept of ＂Love thy Country, Love Hong Kong＂ was brought to bear in the HKSAR.
