欧元诞生以来的表现及原因分析

欧元自正式启动以来 ,汇价一路下滑 ,屡屡跌破历史新低 ,大大超出世人所料 !文章通过分析道出个中缘由 :欧元区国家近年来经济增长放缓 ,各国间经济增长速度快慢差异巨大 ,使汇率缺乏基本支撑力和货币政策的极难协调 ;欧洲央行对其跌势持放任态度 ;几年来 ,欧元区资金外流严重 ,短期内较难逆转 ;欧盟空袭南联盟 ,使本已十分脆弱的欧元汇率下滑趋势加大 ;最后 ,也是较为主要的原因之一 ,即欧元汇率定值过高 ,欧元与其所涵盖的经济总量呈弱相关。然而 ,我们并不能就此认为欧元已经失败。从长期来看 ,欧元仍将是一个比较稳定的货币 ,并将在国际货币体系中发挥重要作用。

Euro's Manifestation since its Issue and the Relevant Analysis

Euro has constantly slipped to its record low point since it was issued,which has greatly exceeded the world’s expectation.This article explores the reasons as follows:the slow economic increase of Euro countries and the remarkable difference of their economic increase have contributed to the poor support to the exchange rate as well as the poor coordination of currency policies;the European Central Bank has taken a laissez-fair attitude towards its falling;the capital in Euro areas has outflown severely,which results in a difficult reverse;EU’s air attack on Yugoslavia has deteriorated the slipping tendency of Euro’s exchange rate.The last but not the least,Euro’s exchange rate was fixed too high,Euro’s weakness relates to its total economic capacity which it covers.Nevertheless,we can’t come to the conclusion that Euro is a failure.In the long haul,Euro will be a relatively stable currency and will play an important role in the international currency system.
