基于因子分析和聚类分析的江苏省13个城市社会发展水平研究

首先使用因子分析对2005年江苏省13个城市的社会发展水平进行研究,结果显示无锡的社会发展水平最高,南京居次,扬州处于第三位,苏州第四,连云港的社会发展水平最低.其次利用聚类分析把13个城市分成三大类,结果显示第一类是无锡、苏州、南京、常州;第二类包括扬州、镇江、南通、泰州;徐州、淮安、盐城、连云港、宿迁归于最后一类,进一步对各类城市的特征进行了分析.最后根据所得结果提出了推动江苏省社会和谐发展的政策建议.

Research on social development of the 13 cities of Jiangsu Province based on factor analysis and cluster analysis

Firstly, researches are made on social development level of the 13 cities of Jiangsu Province in 2005. The result shows that the social development level of Wuxi is the highest, with Nanjing the second, Yangzhou, the third and Suzhou, the fourth. Then this paper classifies the 13 cities into 3 sorts on the basis of cluster analysis. The result indicates that Wuxi, Suzhou, Nanjing and Changzhou fall into the first sort, the second sort includes Yangzhou, Zhenjiang and Nantong, and Taizhou, Xuzhou, Huaian, Yancheng, Lian Yungang and Suqian fall into the last sort. Moreover, the characteristics of each classified city are analyzed. Some advice is put forward on how to construct Jiangsu Province into a harmonious society.
