| Abstract: | The history and the current status of the development of video coding standards is briefly introduced.Then the main technological characteristics of H.264 and its advantages over previous standards are discussed in detail,which involves the advanced intra/inter predictive coding,integral DCT transforming and enhanced entropy coding,etc.Finally,the expectation of the application of H.264 is shortly issued. |
