农杆菌介导籼稻遗传转化研究的进展及策略

摘    要:近年来,农杆菌介导法转化技术已广泛应用于粳稻遗传转化中。但是对籼稻遗传转化相对困难,由于水稻两个亚种遗传差异大,籼稻对转化反应的基因型依赖性强,愈伤组织诱导及分化率低。本文扼要回顾了农杆菌介导籼稻转化研究的历程,系统介绍了影响籼稻转化的主要因素,分析了农杆菌介导籼稻遗传转化研究中存在的问题,并提出了提高农杆菌介导籼稻遗转化效率的对策。高效籼稻转化体系的建立可以加速水稻转基因品种改良育种进程,推进水稻功能基因组研究的开展。

Abstract:Recently Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of rice has been widely used in japonica transformation. However, the transformation of indica rice is still difficult, mainly because the induction of embryogenic callus is not routine and the rate of plant regeneration from transformed calli is low. There are big genetic differences between these 2 subspecies, and indica rice is particularly genotype-dependent. This paper briefly reviewed the history of agrobacterium-mediated transformation of indica rice and recent progress achieved. It also introduced various factors affecting indica rice transformation, analyzed problems existing in its research and provided strategy to improve the efficiency of transformation. The establishment of high efficient indica rice transformation system will accelerate the process of applying transformation technology in rice breeding programs and promote the studies on rice functional genomics.
