And this is because of the fact that the ethnic languages not only lay the foundation of cultural diversity, but also are the essentials of the diversity of cultural ecology. Considering the prospect of the construction of cultural diversity in Yunnan in terms of ethnic languages, it is clear that to respect and protect the ethnic languages is to protect the ethnic cultures and to keep the sustainable development of Yunnan. On the basis of the protection and development, the ethnic languages and cultures will construct the best part of the culture diversity in Yunnan.
