少数民族地区生态文明建设与和谐社会

我国少数民族自治地方大多处于边疆或接近边疆地区，经济、社会发展相对落后，自然生态环境比较脆弱，生态环境现状不容乐观。少数民族地区生态文明建设层次、水平相对较低，还没有完全把生态文明建设与产业结构、增长方式、消费模式结合起来。加快少数民族地区生态文明建设必需落实科学发展观，坚持发展和保护的统一，与物质文明、政治文明、精神文明建设有机地结合起来，积极探索出适合少数民族地区生态文明建设的新机制、新思路，这对于维护民族团结，促进民族地区经济社会全面协调发展，构建社会主义和谐社会，具有重要的理论与现实意义。

Construction of Ecological Civilization and Harmonious Society in the Minority Regions

Minority Ethnic Autonomous Areas in China are mostly in the Frontier or close to the Frontier. The economic and social development in the minority autonomous areas is comparatively backward and the natural ecological environment is relatively fragile.
