This paper considers that the subjectified usage of adverbs Dōu and Yòu expresses the emphatic tone, while Yě is an euphemistic one. In terms of polarity and degree, Dōu and Yě share a few syntactic distributions with Dōu emphasizing and Yě moderating. In terms of incrementalism,Yě and Yòu share a few syntactic distributions with Yě emphasizing and Yòu moderating. Compared with the emphatic expression of adverbs, their usage of euphemistic expression is easily restricted, which gives birth to the asymmetrical expressions between emphasis and euphemism. The expressional tones of Yě and Dōu; Yě and Yòu are not equal to each other.
