Studies on local Novels of the West China in the 1980s

Iocal novelists of the West China were in modern anxiety when the theme of their local novels became the social modernization of the West China in the 1980s.They both criticized and praised traditional local culture.They described in their works the poverty of the local people but meanwhile admired their lives of self sufficiency.They tried to image another kind of local life but fell into confusion because of differences of their values which led to the unprecedented complexity of local novels of the West China in the 1980s.
