Abstract:Based on the fundamentals of physical metallurgy, a nickel-base cast alloy,K4ll was designedand developed successfully according to a proper relationship among alloy composition, microstructures andmechanical properties. With no such precious elements as Co and Ta contained in, the alloy provides highstrength and high resistance to both erosion and oxidation.
