| 摘 要： | 歇后语在英语语言学中还没有它的学名,但歇后语并非是汉语的专利,英语也有歇后语。从词语的理据、修辞手法、句法结构和文化意蕴四个方面对英汉两种语言的歇后语进行初步的探析与对比。

| Abstract: | " Two part allegorical sayings" is not a patent possessed by Chinese language only." Two part allegorical sayings" is a kind of idiomatic expressions used in English language as well,though there is still no special linguistic term for it.This thesis aims to make a contrastive analysis and studies of " Two part allegorical sayings" from four different angles:motivation,sentence structure,figure of speech and cultural background between English and Chinese. |
