| Abstract: | In order to rouse English amateurs' personal sentiments, cultural attainments and their in-terest in the language, and help English majors to diversify their ways of studying English and doing re-searches, this paper, through the citation and analysis of some poems, focuses on the application and effectof the analogous figure of speech in English poetry. |
