| Abstract: | This paper considers that optimizing water resources utilization is a key foundation of the development of metropolitan economic zone in China. The endowments and utilization of water resources in north and south area are analyzed respectively. Lastly, this paper suggests that in order to accelerate social and economic sustainable development, we should discuss and classify different types of metropolitan economic zones; we should construct the water-saving cities and friendly environments. |
