摘    要:针对越来越多的视频数据以压缩形式存在的现状,提出一种MPEG(移动图像专家组)压缩视频的快速镜头边界检测算法,利用DC(直流分量)序列计算HSV(色调、饱和度和亮度)颜色空间的直方图差,通过二次处理去除由闪光灯和渐变过程不连续引起的错误分割,使误检率大大下降,该算法对双阈值比较方法进行了改进,能更好地检测出包含停顿的镜头渐变。

Abstract:As more and more video sequences are now being stored in compressed mode, this paper proposed a new shot boundary detection algorithm for MPEG compressed video.The algorithm detects shot boundary using HSV color histogram in DC compressed domain.A two pass processing is carried out to exclude error segments caused by flashlight and discontinuity during gradual change.It can detect gradual change with discontinuity missed by twin comparison method. The experiments show that this algorithm has better result than the twin comparison method.
